100 YEARS AGO Feb. 4, 1913 As an advertisement for their white goods sale, Joe D. Back and Bro., 410 Main Street, yesterday introduced an unusual feature. In the show window an aged woman spun cotton during the afternoon, using an ancient spinning wheel. Large crowds were attracted by the novelty.
