LITTLE ROCK — BASKETBALL Hendrix men fall to Birmingham Southern
Southern Athletic Association leader Birmingham-Southern defeated the Hendrix College men 78-66 Friday night at Bill Battle Coliseum in Birmingham, Ala. Hendrix trailed 41-30 at the half and 64-45 midway through the second half. The Warriors (6-14, 1-8) shot 41.8 percent (23 of 55) from the field; the host Panthers (15-4, 8-1) shot 53.8 percent (28 of 52). Junior forward Colton Primm led Hendrix with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Senior guard Jaren Riley scored 10 points and freshman guard Jordan Barrett scored nine.
