Gore, Rice run with alterations

The San Francisco 49ers committed to the Pistol offense when Colin Kaepernick (7) took over at quarterback with seven games left in the season, forcing teammates, including running back Frank Gore, to adjust to a complicated scheme.
Running backs Frank Gore and Ray Rice spoke this week about adjustments, the way NFL teams don’t often reach their destinations without a few detours.
