Judges Made Same-Sex Decisions

Monday, December 30, 2013

Greg Harton’s column dated Dec. 23, 2013, says 17 states agree to allow same-sex couples to marry. This is a long way from the true story. Eight of those states had same-sex marriage crammed down their throats by oligarchs in black robes - judges - who found “rights” that were never known of before these little gods handed them down to the peasants below their lofty stations. Voters intwo of those states voted to retain traditional marriage, but judges declared those voters’ motives were impure and voided the will of the people. Some of the states that approved same-sex marriage in a legitimate legislative process no doubt did so because they fi gured it was futile to challenge the will of black-robed tyrants.

Thirty states have declared, in legitimate lawmaking processes, that marriage is between a manand a woman, the domestic partnership contract that has proven to be the best for societal well-being for about 5,000 years of recorded human history. But, lo and behold, a few federal judges joined by some state highcourt superiorities, as if ruling on Mount Olympus, are declaring they know better than 5,000 years of human experience. So the states’ duly-passed laws will be erased from the books.

Oh, how we haveadvanced! In the last couple of years the 5,000-yearold custom of legitimate family structure, held so in all cultures, nations and ethnic groups except the most libertine, has been declared by our elite betters to be ignorant, bigoted and unacceptable. But we ain’t seen nothing yet.

As Liza Doolittle said in “My Fair Lady,” just you wait.
