AQ Chicken safe stolen, recovered

A safe from AQ Chicken at 1207 N. Thompson St. was stolen Sunday night and recovered around 4 a.m. Monday, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department.

Officers responding Sunday to a burglary reported at AQ Chicken found a door open and the safe missing. Early Monday morning, an attempted burglary was reported at the nearby Allens Inc., building. A security guard reported seeing two men pushing a safe on a dolly.

Officers arrested Chris Grubbs, 25 and Heath Holcomb, 24 in connection with felony commercial burglary, according to the news release. There was no sign of burglary at Allens.
