BENTON 44, GREENE COUNTY TECH 25 Josh Bowling scored 12 points and the Panthers held the Eagles scoreless in the first quarter on their way to a victory in the semifinals of the 1st Arkansas Bail Bonds Tournament in Mountain Home.

BENTON HARMONY GROVE 62, MAGNET COVE 15 Hayden Burchfield scored 14 points and the Cardinals (9-2) held the Panthers to six first-half points in taking a first-round victory in the Herb Russell Invitational at Ouachita High School. Chuck McCormick added 13 for Harmony Grove, which led 38-6 at the half. DREW CENTRAL 56, HAMBURG 54 Mahli Arrington led the Pirates (8-5) with 17 points as they held off the Lions in the Southeast Arkansas Invitational in Monticello. Edmond Hunter added 12 for Drew Central. Trey Miller scored 20 and Nick Barnes 15 for Hamburg.

GREENWOOD 73, MIDLAND 28 Evan Lensing scored 18 points as the Bulldogs cruised to a victory over the Mustangs in a consolation-round game in the 1st Arkansas Bail Bonds Tournament in Mountain Home.

JONESBORO 60, DESOTO (Texas) 58 Marquise Pointer hit the game-winner as time expired giving the Hurricane (9-1) a victory over nationally-ranked DeSoto, Texas, in the semifinals of the Whataburger Classic in Fort Worth, Texas. DeSoto came into the game ranked No. 18 in the nation by MaxPreps.com and ranked No. 4 in Texas. Kahron Ross led Jonesboro with 25 points while Pointer finished with 24. Jonesboro plays in the final at 9:30 p.m. tonight.

LITTLE ROCK FAIR 59, De QUEEN 51 Antonio Pointer scored 21 points as the War Eagles (5-4) defeated the Leopards in the Ashdown Classic. DeShaun Gilkey added 11 points and 11 rebounds for Fair, while Nick Jones scored 11 points.

LITTLE ROCK HALL 44, MUNFORD, (Tenn.) 25 Gregg Easter and Antonio Edwards scored nine points each and the Warriors (7-2) held Munford, Tenn., to four points in the second half in a victory in the Gibson County Christmas Classic in Dyer, Tenn. Dayton Artis added eight points for Hall.

LITTLE ROCK PARKVIEW 64, MOUNT LEBANON, (Pa.) 38 Daryl Macon scored 20 points as the Patriots (9-1) rebounded from their first loss to knock off Mount Lebanon (Pa.) in the Slam Dunk at the Hump in Starkville, Miss. Jaylen Franlin added 17 points, 4 rebounds and 8 steals for Parkview, which plays New Hope, Miss., in today’s fifth-place game. LONOKE 53, ENGLAND 42 Jamel Rankin scored 14 points and the Jackrabbits (9-1) rallied from a 24-16 halftime deficit to defeat the Lions (9-1). Blake Mack added 13, Darrious McCall scored 12 and Darian Young 10 for Lonoke, which outscored England 23-8 in the final quarter. Tyrik Harris led England with 17 points while Devonte Patterson scored 15.

NORTH PULASKI 59, MAGNOLIA 49 Steven Farrior and Arren Scruggs scored 13 points each as the Falcons defeated the Panthers in the first round of the Fairview Holiday Classic in Camden. Rashawn Langston added 11 for North Pulaski. Daldric Sargent scored 16 and Jaquarious Parker 15 for Magnolia.

VAN BUREN 49, KANSAS CITY RUSKIN 46 Jason Harms hit a three-pointer at the final buzzer to give the Pointers (8-1) a victory over Kansas City Ruskin in a consolation-round game in the Neosho (Mo.) Holiday Tournament. Mitchell Smith led Van Buren with 20 points, while Harms added 12 and Ryan Pearson 11. Van Buren plays Springfield (Mo.) Parkview in today’s fifth-place game.

GIRLS E-STEM 51, ENGLAND 42 Olivia McWilliams scored 14 points and Gia Hayes added 10 as the Lady Mets defeated the Lady Lions (10-2) in the semifinals of the Goldfish Classic in Lonoke. Alesha Penister and Shanna Shavers scored 12 points each for England.

JACKSONVILLE 73, WYNNE 36 Tiffany Smith, Keke Alcorn and Antrice McCoy scored 12 points each as the Lady Red Devils (3-5) drubbed the host LadyYellowjackets in the Wynne Invitational. Markela Bryles added 11 and Sacha Richardson 10 for Jacksonville, which plays Little Rock Central in today’s semifinals.

LONOKE 42, BATESVILLE 33 Eboni Willis led the host Lady Rabbits (8-3) with 17 points in a victory over the Lady Pioneers (1-8) in the semifinals of the Goldfish Classic. Madison Stave scored 10 points to lead Batesville.

PLANO (TEXAS) WEST 74, CONWAY 59 Plano West outscored Conway 31-8 in the fourth quarter to earn a victory over the Lady Wampus Cats in the quarterfinals of the Sandra Meadows Classic in Duncanville, Texas. Morgann Yancey scored 13 of her team-high 18 points in the fourth quarter. Conway led 40-33 at the half and 51-43 entering the final quarter. Alexis Tolefree and Jordan Danberry scored 17 points each for Conway while Christin Rogers added nine.

WATSON CHAPEL 51, PRESCOTT 43 Peyton Martin led the Lady Wildcats with 16 points in a victory over the Lady Wolves in the Fairview Holiday Classic in Camden. Morgan Monk and Kierra Cox added 13 points each for Watson Chapel, which faces El Dorado in today’s semifinals.
