Arrests Fayetteville

Chad Castleberry, 22, of 2132 Chestnut Ave. was arrested Friday in connection with terroristic threatening, first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault, harassing communications, third-degree assault, harassment and criminal trespass. He was in the Washington County Detention Center without bond Friday.

Jefferey Prince, 39, of 7551 S. Wood Ave. was arrested Friday in connection with felony aggravated assault and terroristic threatening. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,000 bond Friday.

Matthew Patterson, 21, of 3263 N. Kings Cross was arrested Friday in connection with felony residential burglary and theft of property. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on $3,500 bond Friday.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office

Scott Kelly, 50, of 201 E. 368 Road in Dunnegan, Mo., was arrested Friday in connection with felony possession of drug paraphernalia. He was in the Washington County Detention Center without bond Friday.

Van Weaver, 30, of 1602 Wedington Drive in Fayetteville was arrested Friday in connection with felony theft of property, financial identity fraud and theft of property, along with misdemeanor failure to appear. He was in the Washington County Detention Center on $2,880 bond Friday.

Fire Rogers

Firefighters were called to 103 E. Laurel Ave. for a stovetop fire on Thursday after residents melted a candle on the stove. The home wasn’t on fire, but smoky. Firefightersventilated the building.

Burnt food triggered a fire alarm at apartments at 503 S.

Third St. on Thursday.

A 2-year-old child was locked in a car at 2203 S.

Promenade Blvd. on Thursday.

Firefighters unlocked the car and released the child.

Springdale

Firefighters responding to a 911 call at 10:41 p.m. Thursday found wood stacked by a stove caught fire. The damage at 4955 Silent Grove Road was minimal, with scorching on trim of the stove. The fire was under control at 10:51 p.m. No one was hurt with cosmetic damage to the building and some smoke damage.

Jeremy Shorter reported receiving a counterfeit $20 bill at Super 8 Motel, 4540 W.
