Longtime Bentonville Barber Shop Set To Close

Gene Wolf sits in his barber shop Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at 111 W. Central Ave. in Bentonville. Wolf, who has been cutting hair at Gene's Barber Shop for 20 years, will be retiring at the end of the month after 46 years in the business.

Downtown will lose one of its iconic businesses when 2013 comes to a close.

Student Srtwork Displayed at Crystal Bridges

Justin Lantz (cq) and Roy Martinez (near), both with AMP Sign & Banner, install artwork on the doors of the education area at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, in Bentonville.
