U.S. 67 lane closures set for road work in White County

SEARCY — Construction work is causing the lane closures on U.S. 67 in White County this week.

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department said the closures will last until 5 p.m. Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. The work is being done in the northbound lane between mile marker 51 and mile marker 55.

The work is being performed in a construction zone where traffic is down to one lane in both directions.

The highway department said northbound traffic will be diverted off U.S. 67 at the Judsonia exit and onto Arkansas 157. Traffic will be diverted through Bald Knob and return to U.S. 67 at the Bald Knob/Batesville exit.
