THE SKINNY: We know to eat our veggies. But at Daily Greens, the slogan is “Drink your veggies.”

Daily Greens, launched by Arkansas native Shauna Martin, who lives in Texas, produces raw, cold-pressed green juices of vegetables and fruits.Martin began selling her juices at farmers markets, and recently they have been picked up by Whole Foods. The juices are vegan, gluten-free and contain nine servings (from 6 pounds) of raw produce pressed into them.

So how do they taste?

Despite their pretty packaging and dreamy flavor names (Purity, Harmony, Renew, Vitality, etc.) I had my doubts about the very green-looking Daily Greens (shake them, as they separate) and their blends of unlikely flavorings (Renew includes mint, spinach, cucumber, watermelon, dandelion, pineapple, celery, lime and Himalayan pink salt). But I found them rather intriguing.

Maybe they’d be a bit more intriguing with some vodka and a salted rim during a brunch of eggs Benedict, but that would probably be missing the point.
