Pot Plants Lead To Second Fayetteville Arrest

FAYETTEVILLE — Police arrested a second man Friday in connection with a marijuana growing operation found earlier this week.

Aaron Cook, 34, of 1869 Radcliff Ave. in Fayetteville faces felony charges in connection with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

Earlier this week police arrested Bryan Wise, 30, of the same address, in connection with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

Members of the 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force were called to 1869 Radcliff Ave. for a report of a marijuana growing operation, according to an arrest report.

Detectives said they found 24 marijuana plants, some taller than 6 feet, in the residence.

Police also found grow lights and growing chemicals, the report said.

Cook was released from the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond Friday. Wise was being held on $3,500 bond.
