Grab Green Countertop Cleaner

Do you give much thought to the cleanliness of your countertops? You should. You put your food and the things you use to chop, stir and store your food on them.

Know what else can get on them? Germs and other yucky stuff. Just think of the cross contamination. Or what your high-jumping cat does when you’re not looking.

Granted, most cleaners leave behind a strong chemical scent underneath the florals and citrus that’s not particularly appetizing.

Or, your countertop could smell like juniperus virginiana (that’s a blend of red pear and magnolia blossom).

The Grab Green Countertop Cleaner is your typical, eco-friendly, spray-on cleaner. You just spray on nonporous surfaces (tile, laminate, sealed marble, etc.) and wipe.

The ingredients are biodegradable and the Grab Green folks take transparency to the next level by not just giving you the list of ingredients but telling you what each one is for. Apparently, corn sugar and coconut oil surfactant blended together makes a nice cleaner while potassium hydroxide is a good pH adjuster.

As for that scent, it’s fresh and sweet but not cloying, and doesn’t smell at all like a chemical plant.

Of course, even though it’s not toxic and it smells good, you’re not supposed to drink it.
