Springdale Woman Arrested As Home Robbery Suspect

SPRINGDALE — Police arrested a woman Wednesday in connection with a robbery they said began as a sexual encounter.

Gloria Landeros, 26, of 3001 Chadwick St. in Springdale was arrested in connection with felony aggravated robbery, according to a police news release. The man said Landeros enticed him to take her to his home in Springdale from Cherokee Casino in West Siloam Springs, Okla., by promising him sex, according to police arrest records.

After the two started engaging in sex, two men entered an unlocked front door and demanded money, according to police records. One man had a gun, according to the release. The victim unlocked a safe in the house and gave them several thousand dollars, according to records.

The man was driven to Don Tyson Parkway where he was left in his vehicle, according to the release. He was injured during the robbery, but the injuries weren't life threatening.

The other participants have been identified and arrests are expected, according to the release.

Landeros was in the Washington County Detention Center on Thursday in lieu of $50,000 bond.
