Tournaments Set At Swepco
Weekly bass tournaments take place from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday through Jan. 17 at Swepco Lake near Gentry.
Entry fee is $35 per boat.

Seasonal Closure
Lake Fayetteville and Lake Sequoyah will be closed Tuesday through Jan. 14.
Annual passes and Lake Fayetteville boat stall fees may be paid when the lakes re-open on Jan. 15.
Polar Bear Bass Event Set
The annual New Year’s Day Polar Bear bass tournament is from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Jan. 1 at Beaver Lake out of Prairie Creek park.
Entry fee is $60 per boat and includes big bass. First prize is $1,200. Entries received by 1 p.m. on Dec. 31 will be entered into a $200 early-entry prize drawing.
Anglers may enter at Hook, Line and Sinker in Rogers, Southtown Sporting Goods in Fayetteville, Mobile Marine in Springdale or Jeff Cook insurance in Lowell. Entries are also accepted at Prairie Creek on tournament morning.
