ARRESTS

Benton County Sheriff’s Office

Zacharie Kyle Miller, 20, of 15702 Pleasant Ridge Road in Rogers was arrested Monday in connection with three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Miller was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Victoria Leigh Vollrath, 20, of 15702 Pleasant Ridge Road in Rogers was arrested Monday in connection with possession of drug paraphernalia. Vollrath was being held Monday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Springdale

Sommay Sisourath, 34, of 3033 Greenwich St. was arrested Monday in connection with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and a Homeland Security warrant for delivery of a controlled substance. Sisourath was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

Jay Scott Price, 39, of 602 Ashwood Ave. No. 1 in Fayetteville was arrested Sunday in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, fleeing, shoplifting and Fayetteville, Rogers, Stone County and Carroll County warrants. Police said Price shoplifted a knife at Walmart, 2004 S. Pleasant St. and fled from officers after discarding methamphetamine wrapped in money. Price was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $4,005 bond.

Edward J. Garcia, 19, of 2200 E. Mountain Road No. B-210 was arrested Saturday in connection with a felony Washington County warrant, misdemeanor flight from an officer and possession of a controlled substance. Police said Garcia ran after a traffic stop. Garcia was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $175,000 bond.

Rafael Julio Silva, 30, of 2782-B Pontchartrain St. was arrested Friday on a federal Drug Enforcement Administration warrant. Springdale police helped drug enforcement agents serve the warrant. Silva was being held Monday in the Washington County Detention Center with no bond.

Danny Barrows, 33, of 1608 Steele St. was arrested Friday in connection with felony theft by receiving. Barrows was released Friday from the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.

Bentonville

James Newburn reported at 3:04 p.m. Sunday a theft at 901 S.E. G St. B.

Dillon Parish reported at 9:11 p.m. Sunday shoplifting at 406 S. Walton Blvd.

Springdale

Kelly Ryan reported Monday the theft of a gray 2008 Hyundai Tiburon from 408 Midland Ave.

Rick Culver reported Monday a burglary at the rodeo grounds, 1423 E. Emma Ave.

Tommy Madiwell reported Monday a burglary at 505 Butterfield Coach Road.

Gary Davis reported Monday the break-in of a vehicle at 833 Buckhead Ave.

Chris Wright reported Sunday a burglary at 3200 Johnson Road.

April Reed reported Sunday a burglary at 2862-A Braxton Ave.

A theft was reported Monday at 101 W. Prince Lane.

ACCIDENTS

Rogers

A 37-year-old woman was transported to Mercy Hospital at about 6:30 a.m. Friday after a vehicle collision at 14000 E. Arkansas 94. The woman complained of back pain.

A 78-year-old man and 76-year-old woman both suffered chest pain and were transported to Mercy Hospital after an accident at 40th and Olive streets at 12:15 p.m. Sunday.

FIRES

Rogers

Firefighters discovered a faulty water cooler caused a smell that set off a smoke detector at 10 p.m. Friday at 1051 W. Pleasant Grove Road. The water dispenser was removed from the building by maintenance personnel.

An overloaded washer began to smoke at about 9 p.m. at 909 S. Eighth St. The building was ventilated, and the washer and dryer unit were unplugged. No indications of fire or heat were found.
