Two days after losing the championship game in one tournament, Siloam Springs was able to get a victory in the finals of another. Senior Morgan Miller and junior Bailee Owens combined for 43 points as the Lady Panthers defeated host Carl Junction (Mo.) in the finals of the Carl Junction Classic. Miller finished with 22 points, while Owens had 21. The Lady Panthers led 15-13 after the first quarter and led 35-27 at halftime. Siloam Springs pulled ahead by as many as 15 points in the third quarter, but Carl Junction went on a 12-0 run spanning into the fourth quarter to pull within 47-44. Siloam Springs responded with a 9-0 run of its own, including two buckets for Miller and a 3-pointer from Owens. Baily Cameron added 10 points and Mayse Pippin had eight for Siloam Springs (7-1), which hosts Tulsa NOAH (Northeastern Oklahoma Association of Homeschools) today.

Reece Goddard, Dylan Gray and Avery Benson combined to score 63 points on Monday, but it wasn’t enough to keep Siloam Springs from losing its third straight game. Goddard finished with 26 points, while Gray had 20 and Benson 17. The Panthers play Tulsa NOAH today in their final game before the holiday break.
