We were happy to see Virgil R. Stalls’ letter (Dec. 9) regarding the Fayetteville Veterans Home. Our dad, Allen F. Baker, was a resident from 2010-2012. He loved it there. With each visit, a couple of times each week, we found the staff to be efficient, caring, knowledgeable and friendly. The building was spotless.
Reading all of the bad press just didn’t connect with us as we saw everything in a much better light than reported. We would recommend this home to our veterans. The care is superb.
