Two Arkansans die after road crashes

Two Arkansans have died after separate accidents on state roads, according to preliminary Arkansas State Police fatality crash reports.

Fred Power, 78, of Lakeview died Wednesday , a week after he crashed into a driveway in Baxter County, according to a report released Friday.

About 2:35 p.m. Dec. 4, Power was driving north on Arkansas 5 near Cannie Baker Road when his Ford Crown Victoria veered off the road and hit a driveway, state police said. Power was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center, the report states.

Michael Green, 35, of Beebedied after a three-vehicle collision in Faulkner County on Dec. 3, according to a report released Friday.

About 5:40 a.m. that day, William Brady, 44, of Vilonia tried to drive across all lanes of U.S. 64 to continue going east on Stanley Road, the report states. Green, who was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle west on U.S. 64, struck Brady’s Chevrolet, state police said.

A westbound GMC, driven by Jeremy Norwood, 38, of Vilonia then struck the Chevrolet as well.

Brady and Norwood were taken to hospitals in Little Rock and Conway, the report states.
