Virtually every entertainer has a misfire. Butit’s news when an album by one of the best-selling recording artists in history quickly tumbles down thecharts. Celine Dion’s first all-new English-language album in six years, Loved Me Back to Life, entered the Billboard 200 at No. 2. But just five weeks later, it has plummeted to No. 35. “Of course, the record company wants to be the No. 1,” Dion said. “They want to sell records. They want to make money. And don’t get me wrong, I want to. But I’m proud about what I have done with this record.” Over the next few days, millions of people will hear a sample of the album when she performs her new ballad “Incredible” with R&B star Ne-Yo on The Voice. The pair will perform live on the Tuesday season finale of NBC’s singing-competition show. Then Wednesday, Dion will be the principal performer and host of the CBS special A Home For the Holidays, which underscores the need for children to be adopted from foster care. “As a mom, I could not refuse [the gig],” Dion said Saturday night after the Holidays taping.

After months of speculation, Khloe Kardashian is ending her four-yearmarriage to Lamar Odom. The reality TV star filed for divorce Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences. She also wants her last name restored to Kardashian from Kardashian Odom. The filing comes after Odom, 34, pleaded no contest Dec. 9 to a misdemeanor drunken-driving charge. Kardashian, 29, is best known for starring with sisters Kim and Kourtney and her mother, Kris Jenner, in the long-running reality TV series Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She also runs an upscale clothing store with her sisters and starred in a short-lived reality series with Odom.
