Let’s Label It Healthcaredisaster.gov

The current catchphrase for those defending Obamacare is “the vast majority”: The “vast majority” can now secure health insurance though the website; the “vast majority” will have better health coverage; the “vast majority” will pay less, although evidence suggests this is highly questionable.

The “vast majority” of problems with this nightmare program are the essential benefits every policy must cover, regardless of age or circumstance: Birth control, maternity care, abortion, drug rehab, mental illness, pediatric care, etc., whether it’s a young single person or a couple in their 60s.

Consequently, almost 6 million individual policies have been cancelled, perfectly adequate, affordable plans. People in treatment for critical problems now may not have coverage on Jan. 1.

Cancellation of millions more is predicted when the employer mandate kicks in. The premium payment system isn’t even built, nor how the subsidies will be paid.

Because of the ridiculous benefit requirements, premiums greatly exceed what most people have been paying. Don’t be fooled: A “low” premium requires a huge out-of-pocket deductible. Doctor and hospital networks are very restricted - some doctors plan to give up their practice or won’t participate in Obamacare. Don’t count on the infamous promise to “keep your doctor” or if you get critically ill going to Mayo or MD Anderson.

However, more than 60 percent of the citizenry is realizing it isn’t working out so well, electing a community organizer never before in charge of anything, described by Thomas Sowell, noteworthy economist as “a man raised from childhood to resent the successful and despise the basic values of America” (and) whose primary talent is reading empty rhetoric off a teleprompter.

Because of wimpy foreign relations decisions, poor John Kerry runs around the world trying to placate the concerns of America’s allies. Russia is now the primary force in the Middle East, Iran retains its nuclear facilities with reduced economic sanctions, Israel is still in jeopardy, and China is sabre rattling toward Japan.
