Brown set ‘standard’ for ‘Horns

AUSTIN, Texas — From 2000-2009, Coach Mack Brown’s Texas football teams averaged more than 11 victories per season, won one BCS national championship and played for another, restoring the Longhorns’ reputation as one of the nation’s elite programs.
