PUBLIC VIEWPOINT Sunday Newspaper Pushes Same-Sex Agenda With Headline, Labeling

Sunday, December 15, 2013

Iwish to point out your Dec. 1 Sunday paper contained two gross errors on Page 1 under the bold heading “Redefi ning Family.” This heading and your labeling the injured lady’s partner as “wife” ruined an otherwise heartwarming story about people helping people.

My question is, who gave this newspaper the right to change the laws and Constitution of Arkansas.

We still have the only true defi nition of marriage, which is one man and one women.

Also your headline and article saying the school board redefi ned “family” is false as well. Changing “other relatives living in the same household” to “other persons living in the same household” does not redefi ne family by any stretch. Other persons could be just about anyone. The school board took the low road on this as well and likely think they were clever, but their intent is obvious and will add confusion to their policy.

The main problem with this article is your use of a tragedy to promote theliberal and immoral samesex marriage agenda.

Rogers BODY SHOP

WILL BEAUTIFY This is in response to Karen Wenzel (Public Viewpoint, Dec.

6) about the body shop being constructed in Bella Vista.

First of all, have you ever thought about the number of cars parked in front of garages and on the street because theactual garages are fi lled with boxes of junk? As far as I am concerned, there should be no vehicles parked 24/7 on property in Bella Vista.

Since Cooper allowed small lots to be built upon, we have brought in compromising families that are looking for cheap lots that allow smaller homes. Henceforth, small homes with not enough room for their things, everything ends up in the garage, with numerous cars on the driveway. This is something I thought the Architectural ControlCommittee would never allow.

The new Morley’s Body Shop to be erected between the Dollar General and the Post Oft ce will be a beautifi cation to our city.

According to the plans, the building will be solidly constructed with landscaping. This will make the Dollar General store look like an eyesore. They have no landscaping and the building looks like pre-fab construction.

I thought having a Casey’s would be bad, but they are a welcomesight. Everything around that area is landscaped.

But not so with Dollar General. How dare she demean a building that will be picturesque and actually good for our area? Since I moved here 11 years ago, I worry about all the people that drive over the center line. It would be good to have an auto body shop nearby to fi x the dents from idiot drivers and our new explosion of the deer population.
