BENTONVILLE — Today’s annual Christmas parade was canceled on Friday. The parade was to be held in downtown Bentonville.

A news release about the cancellation was issued at 5:30 p.m. by Downtown Bentonville. Parade organizers and officials said they made the decision after reviewing current and predicted weather conditions.

There will be no makeup for the parade, according to a news release.
