FAYETTEVILLE — Curbside trash, recycling and yard waste collection in Fayetteville will be delayed this week because of poor road conditions, according to a city news release.
Crews will not collect trash in residential areas today.
Residents are encouraged, however, to put their trash carts by the curb on their normal pickup day. Solid Waste and Recycling Division workers will attempt to collect all trash by 4 p.m. Saturday.
Commercial trash pickup is scheduled to resume today on a limited basis.
The city’s Transfer Station was closed Monday, but is scheduled to reopen at 10 a.m. today.
