Rogers Aldermen To Review Lake Atalanta Renovation Contracts

Two contracts for improvements to Lake Atalanta are up for review by aldermen Tuesday, although city officials have said no decisions have been made on what the Lake Atalanta improvement project will include.

Rogers City Council

The Rogers City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 301 W. Chestnut St. Enter on the northeast side of the building.

Agenda items include:

An 80 percent/20 percent federal Surface Transportation Grant for an environmental study and design costs to extend Eagle Way from Hudson Road to the area of 46th and Olive streets. The project is a joint partnership with the city of Bentonville. Each city will pay 10 percent of the cost.

A $29,832 contract with Jones Janitorial Services Inc. for the Rogers Activity Center.

A $159,700 contract with Garver LLC for improvements to Rogers Municipal Airport.

A proposal to establish a depository board for the city of Rogers, as required by state law.
