100 YEARS AGO Dec. 9, 1913 More than 150 couples and an equal number of lookers-on thronged the second floor of the new Leader store, at Third and Main streets, last night, the guests of the company at a dance given as a part of the formal opening of the new store. It was the second time the store has been opened at night and the new fixtures and trimmings of the various departments ; augmented by many bouquets of potted palms and ferns, presented one of the prettiest openings Little Rock has had in recent years.
