A stabbing Thursday sent an Elm Springs man to the hospital and his wife to jail.
Doug Weiser was taken by a Springdale Fire Department ambulance from 229 Fredonia St. to Northwest Medical Center-Springdale, according to Springdale dispatch records. Weiser was treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to a news release from the Elm Springs Police Department.
His wife, Dawn Weiser, 44, was arrested in connection with attempted murder, according to the release. She was to be taken to the Washington County Detention Center to await a bond hearing.
Douglas and Dawn Weiser are listed as the property owners at 229 Fredonia Street by the Washington County Assessor’s Office.
Police responded to a 911 call for a domestic disturbance about 3:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the release. Doug Weiser was found with multiple stab wounds.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is helping with the investigation.
