Rogers man waives extradition on Missouri murder charge

A Rogers man waived extradition Monday and will be transported to Missouri to face a murder charge.

Fred Henry Bremer, 39 recently was arrested in connection with murder in the first degree on a warrant from McDonald County, Mo.

Bremer was brought Monday morning to Circuit Judge Brad Karren’s court for an extradition hearing that never took place.

Bremer already had signed paperwork waiving extradition, and authorities no longer have to seek a governor’s warrant to have Bremer transported to Missouri.

Jack McCain, 68, of Rogers died of multiple gunshot wounds on Gobbler’s Knob Road, east of Jane, Mo., on Feb. 20, 2011, according to authorities.

Bremer was still in the Benton County Jail on Monday afternoon.
