Northwest Arkansas Preparedness Fair Set For Sept. 7 in Bentonville

BENTONVILLE — The annual Northwest Arkansas Preparedness Fair will be held Sept. 7.

The free fair, scheduled to kick off National Preparedness Month, will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1101 McCollum Road.

The event will include free lunch, free disaster starter kits, free child identification kits and door prizes, according to a news release.

There will be mini classes and presentations on a variety of preparedness issues throughout the day. There will be 65 booths presenting information on storm shelters, fire safety, power safety, water purification and storage and food storage.
