Core training: Strengthening from the inside out

If you’ve been a regular reader of Master Class over the years, you’re familiar with my affinity for core training as a method of strengthening “from the inside out.” Core training is an umbrella term that covers any number of exercises designed to challenge the body’s midsection. The hips, abdominals and lower back are the primary targets in a core training program.
