— Henderson State athletics director Kale Gober has accepted an assistant athletics director job at Arkansas.

Gober will lead development efforts for the UA, according to a release. He will also work the university's office of advancement and coordinate fundraising initiatives with the Razorback Foundation.

Gober spent the last three years as an administrator at Henderson State. The El Dorado native also played football for the Reddies.

Earlier this year, Arkansas hired then-Towson athletics director Mike Waddell to work on the department's marketing efforts.
