Second St., offers a seminar on green burial options from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Bella Vista Christian Church, 103 Riordan Road, presents its student ministry leading the worship services at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

A potluck lunch sponsored by the missions ministry will focus on Cookson Hills Christian Ministries in Kansas, Okla.

The Little Sprouts Learning Center preschool now accepts applications for the fall season that begins Aug. 19. The ministry is for children ages 3 to 5.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., continues to collect school supplies for the Gravette School District, the Shepherd’s Food Pantry and Helping Hands. Through the Helping Hands program, the ministry helped 5,621 people during June.

The church provides a worship service at 3 p.m.

First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, 695 E. Calvin St., begins its season of Christian education Aug. 18.

Classes for children, youth and adults meet at 9:30 a.m.

Four adult classes will be offered:

The theology class studies “The Orthodox Church” by Timothy Ware (Penguin, 1993).

The Open Door class follows the travels of Jesus via “The Way,” in a video program, accompanied by a book.

“The Who, What, When, Where and Why of Presbyterians” meets for 13 weeks.

The Bible study class focuses on Genesis, Exodus and Psalms.

Forest Hills Church in Bella Vista, an American Baptist Congregation, 1702 Forest Hills Blvd., presents the Pride of the Ozarks Chorus providing special music at the 10:45 a.m. worship service Aug. 18. The group is part of the Greater Ozarks Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Highlands United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, 371 Glasgow Road, presents the 23rd annual Highlands Home tour from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 17.

Tickets are $10 in advance, and $12 the day of the show.

Tickets are available at the church office. In addition to five homes on display, a classic car show takes over the church parking lot, and a certified appraiser offers information on antiques and collectibles for $5 per item. The church will use the proceeds for outreach and missions.

Highlands offers another session of its PlanningAhead Series at 1:30 p.m.
