FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas right-hander Barrett Astin has been named SEC Pitcher of the Week after he threw eight shutout innings in the Razorbacks’ 2-0 victory at Georgia on Friday night.
Astin, a junior from Forrest City, has pitched in 13 games this season, including nine starts. He has a 3-2 record with one save and a 2.02 ERA, which ranks seventh in the SEC.
