Shiloh Christian 6, Morrilton 0

Three Lady Saints scored multiple goals in a 5A-West Conference win over Morrilton on Monday.

Though the offense was humming for Shiloh Christian, keeper Paulina Doubleday posted a shutout to highlight the aggressive Lady Saints’ defense.

Allie Doughtery, Taylor Michaelis and Abby Fulton each found the net twice to pace the offense.

Rogers High 7, Springdale Har-Ber 6

Callie King and Ryan Vaughn each delivered RBIs in the top of the eighth inning for Rogers High.

Rogers is now 9-3 in the 7A/6A-West Conference and just a game back of Fayetteville. Rogers hosts Siloam Springs at 6:30 p.m. today at Veterans Park.

“Huge win for us that still gives us a chance to win a championship,” Rogers coach Mike Harper said. “It was good getting two runs in the extra inning.”

King hit an RBI double to give Rogers a 6-5 lead, then scored what proved to be the decisive run on a groundout by Vaughn. King finished with three of the Lady Mounties’ seven hits. Maddie Massanelli also had two hits and one RBI.

Har-Ber scored a run in the bottom of the eighth before winning pitcher Haylee Zimmerman closed the door on the Lady Wildcats.

Rogers jumped to a 5-0 lead but Har-Ber came roaring back behind a three-run home run by Marissa Davis and a solo home run by Morgan Neal.

Farmington 14, Pea Ridge 2

The Lady Cardinals punched their ticket to the 4A-1 District Tournament finals in a lopsided win.

Starter Jordan Smith picked up her 11th win of the season, striking out four. Smith finished 3-for-3 at the plate. Brooke Larkin blew the contest open in the second inning with a two-run home run, and went on to collect two more hits to lead the Lady Cardinals (20-5), who will play Gravette in the finals at 6 p.m. today.

Prairie Grove 8, Lincoln 1

J.D. Speed posted five shutout innings and walked just one to help Prairie Grove land a spot in the 4A-1 District Tournament finals.

The Tigers will take on either Farmington or Ozark, who met in Monday’s late game, in the championship game at 6 p.m. today. Despite the loss, Lincoln clinched a spot in this week’s 4A-North Regional Tournament in Farmington with a win over Pea Ridge earlier Monday.

Speed struck out just two before handing the ball over to Aaron Kincaid. Ty Tice (2-for-2 2RBIs) and Jon Halbert (3-for-4, RBI) helped push Prairie Grove to an 8-0 after 5 innings.

Rogers Heritage 18, Neosho, Mo. 6

Kacey Murphy hit a three-run homer to highlight a six-run top of the first inning as the War Eagles rolled to a run-rule road victory Monday afternoon.

Murphy, Troy Cahill and Chase Kilgore each had two hits apiece to pace an 11-hit attack for Heritage (17-12). Murphy drove in three runs and scored three times. Cahill drove in three runs and scored twice, while Kilgore scored three runs, drove in one and stole a base.

Colton Wetzler picked up the win with one perfect inning for the War Eagles.
