Cox: Most service restored in area

A power disruption dropped service to Cox Communications customers in several Northwest Arkansas communities on Tuesday morning.

Most service on Cox's hubs in Bentonville and Siloam Springs were restored around noon, and company technicians are trying to identify the cause of the problem, said Kelly Zega, director of public affairs for the company. The problem was first identified shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday. Technicians are still working to determine the source of the power failure, she said.

Those still experiencing problems with telephone or internet service should contact Cox, Zega said.
