City to Host Trail Trekker Meeting

FAYETTEVILLE — Residents interested in becoming a Fayetteville trail trekker are invited to a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. today in Room 111 of the City Administration Building, 113 W. Mountain St.

Volunteer trekkers are expected to supply directions, maps and information to trail users; assist with first aid and bicycle repair; and report any maintenance needs on the trails system to city officials.

Participants set their own schedule and determine what section of trail they want to patrol.
