Sunday’s highlights

Terry lifts Celtics Jason Terry scored Boston’s last nine points as the Celtics weathered a strong comeback by the New York Knicks and avoided being swept with a 97-90 overtime victory on Sunday. Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 29 points.

Heat sweep Bucks LeBron James scored 30 points, Ray Allen had another big game against his old team and the Miami Heat advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals with an 88-77 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Spurs finish off Lakers Tony Parker scored 23 points, and the San Antonio Spurs completed their first round sweep of the injury-plagued Los Angeles Lakers with a 103-82 victory. Tim Duncan had 11 points and six rebounds for the second-seeded Spurs, who will face either Denver or Golden State in the second round.

Curry, Warriors roll Behind Stephen Curry’s 31 points, the Golden State Warriors took a 3-1 lead in their first-round series against the Denver Nuggets with a 115-101 victory Sunday night. Curry scored 22 of his 31 points in the third quarter.
