Police: No arrests made in stabbing

SPRINGDALE — A man was questions but no arrests have been made in connection with a reported stabbing Monday, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department.

The stabbing was reported at Singletree Avenue. Responding officers found a man with a small puncture wound to his leg, which he said was from a kitchen knife, according to the news release. The man told police his roommate had thrown at the knife at him. The roommate said the man had injured himself.

The roommate was injured, but with no eyewitnesses and conflicting statements, officers did not make an arrest, the news release stated. The case remains under investigation.
