Senior Ellen Lundy had a goal and an assist to lead the Lady War Eagles to victory Saturday in the semifinals of the Laker Invitationalin Camdenton, Mo.
Lundy fed freshman Keely Compton, who scored 28 minutes into the match, for the only goal the Lady War Eagles (14-4-2) would need against theprivate school from Jefferson City, Mo.
Lundy added a goal fi ve minutes into the second half on a feed from Gina Britton.
Heritage faced the host team inthe tournament finals on Saturday evening.
Stacey Schimmel earned the shutout in net for Heritage and had three saves.
