Hosts Banquet

The Benton County Quail Unlimited chapter will hold its annual fundraiser banquet on May 6 at the Quail Unlimited barn 5.4 miles west of Bentonville on Arkansas 72.

Activities include prize drawings, games, live and silent auctions and a catfish and barbecue dinner. Tickets start at $45 advance or $50 at the door.

Purchase tickets at Arvest financial services center, Catfish John’s in Rogers or Macadoodles in Jane, MO.

Safety Course Set

For Bella Vista

A boating safety course will be offered in Bella Vista at Riordan Hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 4.

The course is open to the public. It meets the requirement that boat operators born after Jan. 1, 1986 must take a boating safety course.

Hanby Team Wins

At Beaver Lake

Phil Hanby and Hunter Hanby won the Everett Chevrolet Team Trail bass tournament at Beaver Lake on Saturday with five bass that weighed 20.19 pounds.

Justin Mounce and Justin Hoffman were second withfive bass at 18.17 pounds.

Third through fifth, all with five bass, were Brent Mason, Matt Mason, 15.65; Ronnie Davidson, Randy McKee, 15.53; Brady Meredith, Adam Taylor, 14.95.

Big bass at 5.36 pounds was a tie between Mounce and Hoffman, Meredith and Taylor.

Road Hog Park Site Of RV Show

The Northwest Arkansas RV show will be held Friday through Sunday at Road Hog Park, 1159 W. 15th St., in Fayetteville, south of Razorback Stadium.

Hours are noon to 6 p.m., on Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission is $5 per carload.

Watershed Alliance Slates Contest

The Beaver Watershed Alliance is sponsoring a photography contest for area amateur and semiprofessional photographers through May 15.

There are categories for youth and adults. Prints may be entered at Bedford Camera and Video locations in Rogers and Fayetteville.

First prize is a $400 gift card from Bedford Camera and Video.
