SPRINGDALE — A suspect in a rape case died after a possible suicide attempt, according to a police news release.
Justin Mahn, 38, of 1504 Kirsten Drive was found Tuesday lying on the ground floor of the Northwest Medical Center-Springdale parking deck. Mahn jumped from the third level of the parking deck to Allen Street in a suicide attempt, according to the release. His motorcycle was found on the third level of the garage.
Police reported earlier in the day Mahn was in critical condition at the hospital. At 9:57 p.m. police reported he died from his injuries.
Mahn was arrested Friday in connection with felony rape and first-degree sexual assault after a girl told police he touched her inappropriately. He was released Saturday on $10,000 bond.
