Trudeau’s Kitchen and Grill Gloves protect hands from heat and flame - up to 482 degrees - and feature nonslip silicone detailing on the fingers and palm. We love the gloves in theory - a way to protect our mitts but still have the dexterity to insert a meat thermometer or grip the end of a metal kebab skewer. And for working over the grill we especially liked the added protection the longer length gave our wrists and forearms. Unfortunately, ourhands (and those of almost everyone else we asked to try the gloves) didn’t fit right. For some the hand portion was too snug. For others the fingers were too long on the pinkie, while too short on the index and middle fingers. Even worse, the gloves are not waterproof (or even water resistant), so a little moisture renders them downright dangerous.
Yet, all of those complaints aside, these are still the best oven/grill gloves we’ve tried.
