Stumbaugh Shines At Meet

Payton Stumbaugh continues to shine in her return from a lower back injury.

Stumbaugh led a group of 13 Har-Ber athletes at the prestigious Kansas Relays, where she took first place in the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 44.23 seconds. Stumbaugh also placed sixth in the 100 and fourth in the 100-meter hurdles while Amanda Dillon finished fifth in the 400-meter run.

For the boys, Dino Andrade finished 15th in a field of 32 finalists in the 800 in a time of 1 minute, 59.86 seconds.

The Har-Ber boys and girls now turn their attention to the 7A/6A-West Conference meet, which will held Thursday at Van Buren. The state meet will be held the following week at Bentonville.
