Dining Out
The Bella Vista Dining Out Group’s April dinner party is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que, 609 N.
46th St. in Rogers. Social time begins at 5 p.m., and dinner will be ordered off the menu.
Everyone is welcome at the Dining Out Group events; there is no need to join any club or pay dues in order to attend the dinner parties.

Kingsdale Squares
The Kingsdale Squares will dance from 7 to 9 p.m.
Monday and from 7 to 9 p.m. April 29 at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. The callers will be Johnny Eubanks on Monday and Kenton Sullivan on April 29.

Iowa Club
The Iowa Club will host a flighted nine-hole, four-person shotgun scramble May 18 on the Brittany course in Bella Vista.
Check-in is at 1 p.m. Cost is either $8 or $15 (depending on a Bella Vista photo I.D.) plus cart and $1 per person extra for flight prizes.
Pizza for $5 per person will follow at the Metfield Clubhouse. Dues of $5 per year (unless already paid) will be collected. Non-golfers will have a games activity in the Brittany room during this time.

Freethinkers
The Fayetteville Freethinkers will meet from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Fayetteville Public Library, 401 W. Mountain St.
Meetings typically include brief presentations on a Freethinker of the Month, recognizing and avoiding logical fallacies and a moral question, plus an exercise in skepticism and a presentation on a topic of philosophical, religious, social or scientific interest.

The Benton County Democrats Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Elks Lodge, 501 S. 40th St.

Lone Star Club
The Lone Star Club will hold its spring party at 1:30 p.m. May 7 with a luncheon at the Olive Garden restaurant in Rogers. Cost is $16 per person, which includes tax, tip and coffee, tea or soda.
Reservations should be sent to Juanita Prior, 48 Highland Parkway, Bella Vista 72715. Include choice of entree: lasagna, chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan, spaghetti and meat balls or fettuccine Alfredo.

Civil War Roundtable
The Northwest Arkansas Civil War Roundtable will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Shiloh Museum ofOzark History, 118 W. Johnson St. in Springdale. The program will be presented by John Burroughs of the Rogers Historical Museum, and the topic will be the museum’s Civil War educational outreach programs in local schools.
The meeting is free and is open to anyone with an interest in Civil War history.

Retired Nurses
The Retired Nurses ofNorthwest Arkansas will meet at 11:15 a.m. April 30 at Northwest Medical Center, 3000 Medical Center Parkway in Bentonville.
At noon, the guest speaker will be geriatrician Marjorie Renfrow, M.D., on “What’s New in Geriatric Medicine.” She is board certified in geriatric and family medicine, affiliated with Northwest Medical Center and has an office in Bella Vista.
All retired nurses and their guests are welcome to select lunch, which is optional, in the Allspice Cafeteria and carry it across the hall to Classroom B for the meeting and presentation.
