PREP SOFTBALL SILOAM SPRINGS 17, SPRINGDALE HIGH 12

Haley Hunt was 4-for-5 with a home run, and also earned the win in the circle as Siloam Springs claimed a wild win over Springdale High on Friday in 7A/6A-West Conference action. Hunt also doubled and drove in three runs to pace the Lady Panthers (6-10, 2-7). Morgan Curtis, Morgan Pack, Megan Bunch and Haley Littlejohn all had multiple hits for Siloam Springs. Curtis also homered in the game. The Lady Panthers smashed 18 hits as a team For Springdale, Chasidee Owens, Maegan Kelley, Ashley Farley and Madison Moore all had multiple hits.

SPRINGDALE HAR-BER 6, VAN BUREN 1

The Lady Wildcats blew the game open late in a 7A/6A-West Conference win at J.B. Hunt Park. Emily Stockalper and Morgan Neal each had three hits, and Stockalper homered and had 3 RBIs to pace Har-Ber (9-8, 6-4). Tiffany Ray had two hits for the Lady Wildcats. Kylie Buttram (4-1) got the win in the circle.

WEST FORK 12, BERRYVILLE 11

West Fork survived a late Berryville rally to claim a one-run win in nonconference action. The Lady Tigers trailed 5-0 in the third inning before tacking on 11 runs over the next three innings to take an 11-5 lead. West Fork added single run in the sixth inning, which proved to be the difference. Sydney Franklin, Catie Coker, Jessica Reed and Kaden Selph each doubled for West Fork, and Selph had 4 RBIs. Tiffany Cartwright earned the win in the circle.

PRAIRIE GROVE 8, GENTRY 5

Kelbie Brown scattered 11 hits over six innings to lead Prairie Grove over Gentry. Brown (4-1) walked one and struck out six. Kaleigh Witherspoon went 2-for-3 with two doubles and a pair of RBIs to lead the Lady Tigers at the plate. Christian Parker and Katlin Asbill also collected two hits each. Prairie Grove (13-4) also won the junior varsity game 10-9.

PREP SOCCER GIRLS ROGERS HERITAGE 5, SPRINGFIELD (MO.) KICKAPOO 0

Ellen Lundy scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Lady War Eagles to victory. Raya Jones scored off a corner kick to give Heritage (10-4-2) a 1-0 lead. Lundy then fed Gina Britton for a goal and a 2-0 halftime lead. Lundy scored twice in the second half and freshman Keely Compton added the fi nal goal.

WESTVILLE, OKLA. 1, GENTRY 0

Ana Palacios and Porlai Lor provided solid play for Gentry as the Lady Wolves fell to Westville, Okla. at home. Haley James tended goal in the match. Gentry (6-4-1) hosts Dardanelle at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

BOYS BERGMAN 2, DECATUR 1

Alex Cordova scored the lone goal for Decatur as the Bulldogs fell to Bergman. Cordova and Hector Aguilar provided the goal tending for Decatur in the match.

PREP BASEBALL FAYETTEVILLE 15-8, CONWAY 10-7

Drew Tyler, Carson Shaddy and Logan Hiatt had two runs batted in each as part of a seven-run fifth inning and Fayetteville rallied from an early deficit to defeat the Wampus Cats, 15-10, in the first game of a nonconference doubleheader on Friday in Conway. The Bulldogs had 16 hits total in the opening game and Cody Davenport and Will Ginger combined to give Fayetteville seven innings on the mound. In the late game, Fayetteville again rallied with three runs in the fifth after trailing 3-0 early. Shaddy, Tyler and Austin Allen had RBIs in the second contest for the Bulldogs (17-2) and Forrest Fultz picked up the win in relief.

FREE STATE, KAN 6, ROGERS HIGH 5

Free State (Lawrence, Kan.) scored a run in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat Rogers High at the Free State Classic. Timmy Seldomridge, Camdon Myers and Konstantin Storkov had two hits each for the Mounties. Brett Gentz added a two-run double for Rogers. Rogers plays again at 9 a.m. today.

LINCOLN 12, CEDARVILLE 3

Dakota Riggin went 3-for-3 with a pair of runs to lead Lincoln over Cedarville in nonconference action. Riggin also picked up the win, allowing four hits in six innings. Riggin (3-2) walked six, and struck out seven. Drew Harris went 2-for-4 for Lincoln (11-4). Cedarville won the JV game 4-3. Lincoln plays at Hackett at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
