North Shore Animal League’s 2013 Tour for Life, a national pet adoption event, will partner with the Fayetteville Animal Shelter and the Humane Society of the Ozarks for a mobile adoption event Sunday. The event will be from noon-4 p.m. at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Mall Avenue in Fayetteville.
Pets will be available from the animal shelter for a special $10 adoption fee. Dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will be available for adoption, and residents can learn about the benefits of adopting shelter pets. Tour for Life will visit 52 cities in 28 states to raise awareness and find homes for shelter pets through mid-May.
