Earnings report

Companies reporting quarterly earnings Friday included:

Baker Hughes Inc., the oilfield services company, a profit of $267 million, or 60 cents a share, down from $379 million, or 86 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue fell 2 percent to $5.23 billion. Shares fell $1.02 to close at $43.58.

McDonald’s Corp., the fast food chain, a profit of $1.27 billion, or $1.26 a share, up from $1.267 billion, or $1.23 a share, a year ago. Revenue edged up 1 percent to $6.6 billion. Shares fell $1.99 to close at $99.92.

Honeywell International Inc., maker of cockpit controls and thermostats, a profit of $966 million, or $1.21 a share, up from $823 million, or $1.04, a year ago. Revenue fell slightly to $9.33 billion. Shares rose $2.71 to close at $74.18.

Schlumberger Ltd., the world’s largest oilfield services company, a profit of $1.26 billion, or 94 cents a share, down from $1.3 billion, or 97 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 8 percent to $10.67 billion. Shares fell $1.05 to close at $69.95.
