FAYETTEVILLE — The city fire marshal is investigating a truck explosion early Thursday at America’s Car-Mart.
Firefighters went to the business, 2724 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., about 12:15 a.m.
Witnesses reported a Ford F-150 was engulfed in flames in the parking lot, according to a police report. The truck, which was for sale, exploded. The fire damaged a Jeep Liberty.
Police closed part of the street while firefighters extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported.
Battalion Chief Mauro Campos said the fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
