Two burglars fled today after a woman grabbed a gun from her purse and fired, said Sgt. Craig Stout of the Fayetteville Police Department.
Stout said the woman came home to 5512 Bogan Drive and found two men burglarizing her house. The men told the woman they wouldn't hurt her if she reached for her purse. She grabbed a handgun out of her purse and fired, Stout said. The men fled.
