The University of Arkansas’ Muslim Students Association, Muslima and The Islamic Center of Northwest Arkansas will present speaker Mutahhir Sabree from the Guide US TV channel Thursday and Friday in Fayetteville.

Sabree will speak from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Reynolds Auditorium Room 120 on the campus of the University of Arkansas, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. and again from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Friday at the Islamic Center of Northwest Arkansas in Fayetteville, 1420 W. Center St.

Food will be served following the two evening discussions.

A Northwest Episcopal Church Women Convocation will be at 11:30 a.m. April 20 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Springdale, 2898 48th St.

The women of St. Thomas and St. Theodore’s Episcopal Church in Bella Vista are co-hostesses for the event.

Tickets are $10 and include a lunch with a choice of desserts followed by a style show and brief meeting. Proceeds will benefit Canterbury Lodge at Camp Mitchell.

All Episcopal Church Women are invited.

First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, 20 Boyce Drive, will present a piano recital, featuring Susanna Yatsko, a piano student at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, at 7 p.m. April 13.

Yatsko has lived in Bentonville for 12 years and graduated from Bentonville High School in 2009. Last year the music department at John Brown awarded her the Oiesen Music Award, the university’s most prestigious honor in recognition of outstanding performance, scholarship and service.

Two guest speakers are slated to appear at UnityChurch of the Ozarks in Bentonville, 902 S.W. Second St.

The Rev. Tom Simota will speak at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

The Rev. Scott Sherman will speak from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

April 14 on near death experiences and discuss the book “Proof of Heaven” by Dr.

Eben Alexander. On April 15 he will offer individual sacred healing session from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the church.

Sessions are 40 minutes each. A suggested love offering is $60.

The Perfect Storm prophecy seminar will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the HyattPlace Hotel in Rogers, 4610 W. Walnut St. will continue through April 20 each day except Tuesday.

Speakers include Rodney Weyer, Bud Duncan, Neil Mullins and the host Ovidiu Radulescu. Bibles, software and printed materials are provided.

The event is free, but seating and materials are limited.

A children’s program also is available at no cost. Finger food and refreshments will be available every night.

The Women’s Club card party will begin Thursday at 12:15 p.m. Both canasta and bridge are played and you do not need a partner. All are welcome.

A bingo appreciation dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday for all who have helped make bingo nights a success. Bingo will be played at 6:30 p.m.
